Your Ultimate Adventure Itinerary:

Begin your journey from Nelly Bay with a trek through the stunning Magnetic Island National Park, hosted by Destination Adventure. As you explore the island’s diverse terrain, discover its hidden gems, from secluded beaches to breathtaking viewpoints, while learning about the island's flora, fauna, and fascinating history.

• Sunrise over Geoffrey - Starting bright and early we will pick you up at Nelly Bay Ferry terminal and head over Gabul Way.  With views over Geoffrey Bay and the soft light as the island wakes up – it’s a perfect moment to set the tone for a day full of nature’s wonders

• Endeavour Lookout – Take in jaw-dropping panoramic views of Alma Bay and the Coral Sea. 

• Sphinx Lookout – A perfect spot to snap a photo with a unique rock formation and sweeping vistas! 

• The Forts Walk – Walk through history and discover WWII military ruins, keeping an eye out for our island local, the Koala

• Florence Bay – Picture-perfect beach vibes with fringing coral reef and majestic granite boulders

• Radical Bay – Relax in this tranquil bay with its lush surroundings and pristine beach where Pilgrim will be waiting for us! 

A Beautiful Brunch at a Remote Island Bay:

After your trek, you’ll reach a secluded beach, a peaceful and private spot where Pilgrim Sailing will be waiting to welcome you. This remote location offers pristine natural beauty and a tranquil setting to relax and unwind and jump in for a refreshing swim if you wish. Savour fresh local produce including seafood, artisan cheeses, and fresh-baked baguettes, paired with delicious organic wines that complement the flavours of the island. It’s a perfect way to refuel and soak in the stunning coastal views.

Sailing Back to Nelly Bay:
After brunch, embark on a leisurely sail back to Nelly Bay, where you can enjoy the stunning island scenery from the sea. This peaceful sail marks the perfect end to a day full of adventure, beauty, and culinary delights.

What's Included:

Locally sourced seafood and antipasto platter (dietary requirements can be accommodated if requested at the time of booking) served on Pilgrim

Approximately one hour sail from Radical Bay to Nelly Bay.

Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks served with lunch and on the sail home
Environmental Levy of $8 per person

Note: This is a Grade 4 Walking Track and walking experience is recommended. The track may be long, rough and very steep. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this experience.

Itinerary

• 5.30 am Board Sealink ferry in Townsville (optional)
• 6.00 am Meet your Destination Adventure host on the Peppers Deck 
• 6.00 am - 10.00 am Hike from Nelly Bay to Radical Bay (10km)
• 10 am - 11 am Explore the beach, go for a swim or head straight to Pilgrim for some relaxation
• 11 am - 12 pm Sail along the stunning Magnetic Island coastline back to Nelly Bay enjoying a delicious lunch and beverages.
• 12.15 pm Sealink ferry to Townsville (optional)
