Charter our 58-foot sailing yacht for a relaxed day on the water with your family, friends, or colleagues.

Your private day is shaped around your group and the time you have — combining sailing along the Magnetic Island coastline with time at anchor in a quiet bay to swim, explore, or simply slow down.

Most private day charters run for four or five hours, with start times typically in the morning or late morning. Longer Day to Dusk charters start a little later and extend into the afternoon and finish with a gentle sunset sail. Timing can often be adjusted — just let us know what you’re looking for.

Once underway, we’ll sail along the coast before anchoring in a protected bay for lunch and time at your own pace. You’re welcome to swim, relax on board, explore the beach by dinghy, or enjoy the water from the giant inflatable mat. The day is flexible and unhurried, with the crew there to look after you.

Your charter begins at Magnetic Island Marina, Nelly Bay. One of our crew will meet you at the Peppers Blue on Blue deck and escort you to Pilgrim, our 58-foot sailing yacht.

After a safety briefing, we’ll have a quick chat about how you’d like to spend the day before heading out of the marina and setting sail. Guests are welcome to relax on the beanbags, help with the sails, or take a turn at the helm.

We usually sail for around an hour before anchoring in one of the island’s quieter bays, such as Florence Bay, Arthur Bay or Radical Bay, depending on conditions. Once at anchor, the time is yours — swim, explore the beach, relax on board, or enjoy the inflatable mat. Lunch is served on board once everyone has settled in.

After lunch, we’ll lift anchor and enjoy a relaxed sail back to Nelly Bay. On longer Day to Dusk charters, the return sail takes place in the glow of the afternoon sun as the sunsets.

Throughout the day, we often spot local wildlife, including brahminy kites, sea eagles, batfish, turtles and, during whale season (July to August), migrating humpback whales.

• Start times:

  • 5-hour Private Day Charter: typically departs at 9:15am

  • 4-hour Private Day Charter: typically departs at 10:15am

  • Day to Dusk Charter: departs between 1:45pm and 3:00pm, depending on the time of sunset at that time of year and runs for approximately 4 hours.

• Timing can sometimes be adjusted by arrangement — please let us know if you have a specific window in mind

• Snorkelling is weather-dependent and not guaranteed; snorkelling gear is not provided

• Please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for specialised diets and will be confirmed with you after booking

• Six-hour charters may be available on request — please contact us directly
